Fantastic quality and features, surprising problems
This review is specifically for the G815 which is a total redesign from the G810. I know the price is a big issue for a lot of people but if you are reading this you have the money and are trying to decide if it's worth it. The KB is the single part of the computer you will touch the most. More than any mouse, touchpad or trackball. So a meaningful change there will have a real impact on your experience with your computer. I found this keyboard fantastic -- but with some troubling issues. Well worth my money but is it worth it to you? Read on. So, things I like: - Super thin but heavy enough not to move around at all. Stable as a rock. - Fast. Like really, noticeably faster. My typing speed instantly increased. - Butter smooth linear keystrokes, no muss, no fuss, no click. - Metal body looks and feels pro, top quality. It should for the price. - A bit of space between the keys means less fat fingering. - Really, super programmable per key. For example I have just the logo to do a lighting effect while the other keys are static. - The G HUB program that sets up the lights and macros was intuitive enough I figured out how to use it just tinkering with it. I was able to do a lot of interesting configuration on my KB. - I set up my keys with colors to denote function. So most keys are white but my F keys are yellow, my G keys are orange, my Windows and audio keys are blue, my caps, num, scrlk, pause, prtsc keys are green, etc. Makes for at a glance and peripheral identification and less hitting the wrong key. - A small lighted bar on the spacebar. Nice touch. - Stout cord and rubber protector. Braided cover. Built to last. Handsome IMO. YMMV - Audio controls are simple and responsive. - Separate programmable/macro keys (G keys). Sure, they could have built another function into the F keys but having them separate means one touch activation. When gaming simple is best. The biggest argument I see against separate G keys is a larger KB footprint. But not here. My old Azio KB without those measures about 18¼" (46cm) across while this one is about 18½" (47cm) so ¼" (1cm) difference. My standard HP keyboard for work is 18" (just under 46cm) across so the difference even there is minimal. Unless you are upgrading from a KB with no number pad this just isn't an issue. They accomplish this by having a much narrower bezel between the edge of the keys and the edge of the KB. Clever design. - I thought I would miss the built in wrist rest but I don't. With this much thinner KB it just isn't needed. And that change means a smaller footprint front to back. Under 6" (14cm). Things I found odd: - Needs TWO USB plugs. One with a KB symbol, the other with a USB symbol. Why 2? Power requirements? Not a big deal but it's weird. [EDIT: The extra plug is to make the USB port on the top of the KB is a passthrough. But it's USB 2.0 and a KB is not a lot of traffic so why they thought a passthrough was needed I don't know. Still weird.] - The USB passthrough is next to the cord on the top edge of the KB, not on the side as expected. - No scroll lock light. It has a scrlk KEY but no indicator light. Not that most of us use that but if you ever turned it on by accident you would have a heck of a time figuring it out. - There is no audio passthrough. I don't care but you might. - The keys use the new style of being raised up off the keyboard so there is empty space under them. It looks kinda cool but I worry I will catch the corner of an edge key and pop it off. IDK if that would break it or just pop off the top. I would rather not find out. Stuff I don't like: - The symbols !@#$%^&*()_+ etc are just printed on the keys; they do NOT illuminate. So on the 1 key only the 1 lights up, NOT the ! And they are printed in a medium gray, not white, so they really don't stand out. In low light --- like for gaming -- they are completely invisible. This is the only thing I truly HATE about this keyboard. I'm sure someone will point out that I should be able to type without looking but then why illuminate the keys at all? And esp with symbols their placement changes from KB to KB. Any way you look at it, this is a big FAIL. - The letters and numbers on the keys are small. They could have easily been 25% larger without looking oversized and still with plenty of room for the symbols And they should have. They are very clear so even my old eyes can make them out but bigger would have been better. - I have yet to figure out how to use the 3 memory keys. I've tried a number of things and nothing has worked yet. The manual, being for the G810 which did not have those keys, is no help. I have found no YouTube vids on how to do it. I'll figure it out but this is a problem. - Speaking of the manual, the closest I could find was the G810 manual and this is a complete redesign so not much help there. - The web site was weird and buggy and had no idea what a G815 is. It said something about being in transition so maybe that's it. But wow, just wow. - The caps lock and num lock lights are white, rather bright, and not adjustable. I will have to put a tinted plastic cover over them. Also, reading the printed text next to them to see which is caps and which is num is impossible. Litreally black on black. I can figure it out but that's obnoxious. Maybe I'll paint over that in white. - The brightest level is just about right for me, but I like lower light. It has dimmer levels but nothing brighter. Not sure why they went with such subdued light, especially since this is a USB plug in, not wireless, so no battery issues. If I had a fancy PC build on display with this KB doing a light show I would want it much brighter. The problems are mostly things that should have been caught by releasing a few prototypes to a handful of gamers. Overall it's a fantastic keyboard with some surprising issues for a premium priced KB. I don't regret the purchase but normally with this many issues I might give it just 3 stars. Still, it's already by far my all time favorite KB so I'll go with 4. And hey, Logitech, if you're reading this, if you need someone to tell you this stuff in the future I would be happy to do so. Because whoever is doing it now is not catching these things.

This is a really great keyboard. I will do my best to write a review that addresses any concerns or questions a counsumer like myself may have to help make your decision on whats best for you.
TLDR; Great low profile keyboard with a justifyable pricetag.

I will break down my unboxing and usage experience as best I could. First off, the item is packaged very well, it has a nice looking box, and there are satisfying moments as soon as you open the package. The board is heavy! You can feel its heft immediatly and you can tell this is unlike any other keyboard you've used in the past if you havent bought a $200+ keyboard before. The full aluminum frame is very attractive and it has a nice brushed finish. The flip down feet at the top corners of the rear of the keyboard can give you a slight pitch, if that is what you prefer.
      Keys
The keys feel like they are made of the same material, but they may be plastic. The tactile keys have a slight click when pushed in which you can hear and feel. Its worth noting here this is not a particularly loud click and the feel is miniscule as well. If you are looking for a silent press, this is not that keyboard nor is it a loud keyboard if you want that, either.
      Lighting
The lighting of the keys is superb. It is bright and clear. To adjust the colors use the G Hub app. It's a very easy app to use and really well designed. The app has several preset effects like most RBG do nowadays (i.e. rainbow) and there are a few Logitech only settings. I like the ease of use, and per key lighting assignment is dope! The G logo in the top left gives a nice design touch to it. I normally do not like logos on things but it looks good up there and you can easily change that light or have it match the rest of your board.
      Auxillary keys
The most useful key here, in my opinion, is the "Game mode" (joystick looking) key. This will disable the Windows key so you will never minimize your game when you have a missed keystroke! With this key, in the app, you can assign any other keys to disable when engaged as well. The G keys are essentially F1-9 and they are changed from default in the app as well. The media control keys are self explanitory, as are the other round keys, and the volume wheel is large, responsive and has the same premium feel the entire keyboard has, as well. The round keys are a rubber or silicone with a slight concave feel, also nice.
      Battery and connectivity
I've had no issues with either of these thus far. It is worth noting I do occasionally charge the board, before the battery status goes low. Also I have only used the lightspeed connection and my keyboard is less than 2 feet away from my micro PC. Battery status is displayed in the app, and the connectivity is shown there as well.
      App
One of the better designed apps i've used for this sort of thing. You can tell they put a lot of time into this to make your experience as easy and pleasant as possible.
      Complaints
I really only have one, and its a personal thing. This is a low profile keyboard. The keys are also low profile and they have like a flat feel to them. If you use low pro keybaords this is a non issue. However, if you are like myself and have only used standard style keyboards in the past it will take some getting used to.
      Summary
This is an expensive keyboard, you don't need me to tell you that. I will tell you that the pricetag is fair because of the feel and finish of this item. You immediately feel a difference if you've never used a high end keyboard before, like myself. That being said it wont make you any better at gaming, and will not improve your typing. As far as I am concerned, no keyboard can do that. It will 100% improve your experience and satisfaction while using it, though. If you can swing it financially to splurge on this luxury item, then go for it. If not there are many keyboards that perform the same basic funtions for much less. I hope this review helps if you are on the fence or just browsing.

Keyboard Super Review (gaming and basic computing perspective)

      Logitech G915 TKL:
The keys on this board are lightweight, which is a selling point. I have large man hands scuffed up from working outdoors with the lifelong dexterity of a computer gamer -- yet the lighter keys can be easier to counter strafe in FPS games. The layout of the board feels natural and I do not misfire keys. I immediately played very well with this keyboard.
Compared to the Corsair K65 with its instant activation, I game much better on this keyboard. My criticism is the Shift key, a common button for games, is a wide key but supported like it is a single wide key, unlike the rest of these keyboards which reinforce the shift key. This can be frustrating when toggling sprint in a game like Tarkov.

Corsair K65 65%: (OPX Switches, PBT Double-Shot Keycaps)
The switches are very easy to activate, there is no wiggle room, as with other switches/keyboards, they will activate and reset with little distance before the switch can be triggered again. This can take some getting used to for twitch competitive gaming.
My main criticism is the size. I ordered the 75% for the Function Keys although it has different switches. If you dont use those readily then the small size of this is a boon. The small size takes a bit getting used to, for better and worse, as its very nice to have page up/down so close to the arrow keys, etc.
Also, this keyboard is FUN to use, I want to press the keys; despite buying several keyboards to test, I am not a keyboard/switch fetishist either. The size is great if you dont need function keys.

Corsair K65 75%: (PBT Dye-Sub Keycaps, Pre-Lubricated MLX Red Linear Switches)
The prelubed switches are amazing; I don't know why more keyboards come this way (it is a lot of work to lube them yourself). If you are partial to buttery sounding/feeling switches then this is a good contender. The switch activation point is ideal for my crack FPS playstyle. The bluetooth and wireless dongle are useful for playing on the TV. The sound knob is not easy to turn and is even more difficult to grab with the Home key right next to it.
This is my overall favorite keyboard and what I use for computing and gaming. Sadly, it is my least favorite keyboard aestetically, from keycaps to backlight effects.

Ducky One 3 TKL: (Double Shot PBT, Cherry MX Red)
This might be my favorite keyboard. The switches have a bit of give before activation which is a concern for my precise FPS gaming playstyle--I am not as confident when a key will trigger compared to some other boards. This is understandable, the Ducky is not marketed as a gaming keyboard; which might also be why it is my favorite to use for typing/word processing. The Corsair, for comparison, has no give and trigger with the slightest force. Maybe its my past habit of using keyboards but I like to put a little weight down on the keys, especially when strafing in games or waiting to press a key.
Somewhat unrelated, this keyboard was missing a few keycaps but Ducky mailed me the missing caps ASAP.
tldr: Not the best keyboard for freak FPS gaming, short of that it is tied with Corsair K65, with difference being when you like the key to trigger (a little give with Ducky or instantly with K65). Might also be worth noting I am typing a lot of reviews with this keyboard.

      Logitech G413 TKL:
Amazon cancelled my order of this, probably because they doubled the price after I purchased it. Unfortunate because one of my past favorite gaming keyboards was a similar Logitech, which I gifted to my sister.

Das Keyboard 6 Professional: (Tactile Cherry MX Brown Switches)
This was my old keyboard. It is very disappointing. It is incredibly overpriced. The caps are not PBT (newer, nicer key cap plastic tech). I lubed the switches myself and it is slightly better. I have posted a very long review on its page. Das 4 keyboard was one of the best of its time (cat urinated on mine). I hope the future iterations will be better for Das' sake...since the rest of these boards are almost half the price and better per most metrics.

El teclado esta padre, puedes configurar las luces, las teclas macro y el rollo para subir y bajar de volumen esta cool. Es dificil encontrar teclados con las teclas de macro que estan en el lado izquierdo y por este y otros motivos esta perfecto el teclado. 😀

I really like the design of the keyboard. Build quality is very good. Quality of the keycaps, media buttons and volume roller are very good. The linear keys suit my personal preference for quite keys.

I can agree with some comments that the cost is rather high. I probably would not have gotten this keyboard without it having a big discount.

One of the best tenkeyless keyboards on the market, while a bit more expensive than others it performs for the price. I bought the keyboard at a 30% discount so was happy with that.
The keyboard comes out of the box needs to be charged with the usb to micro usb cable included in the box, afterward you can switch to light speed with the usb dongle or Bluetooth, the battery life is crazy and does vary depending on how bright your rgb is (can be changed in G Hub), the keys have a fast travel time excellent for fps games such as Counter Strike and Apex Legends. {Note: if you play fps games it’s recommended you use the light speed connection rather than Bluetooth which is slower and not as reliable. One little thing that might irk people is the ergonomic aspect but I don’t find that to be a problem for myself. All in all it’s a great gaming keyboard and I highly recommend, probably even more when it’s on sale 9.5/10
